A glimpse into daily life with our two precious boys. Thursday, December 22, 2011. Lenox and The Pink Pig. On Monday we went to "the city" as the boys call it to see Santa and ride The Pink Pig. Poor Aidan tried so hard to be brave to see and talk to Santa this year but when it was their turn he completely froze and just couldn't do it. Carter had a good chat with him though! After the Santa visit we got our tickets to ride the pink pig. I knew Carter was a bit old for it but Aidan loved it! Then we ende...

A glimpse into daily life with our two precious boys. Saturday, August 27, 2011. Today we celebrated Aidan's 3rd birthday with a safari party at a local animal rehabilitation place called Noah's Ark. Aidan loves animals and outside so this was the perfect way to celebrate him! We had so much fun. Making some animal prints with his new friend Camden. The food table. We had BBQ sandwiches, PB and J sandwiches, chips, potato salad, and watermelon for lunch. It worked out well for a picnic! Aidan's first day...

A glimpse into daily life with our two precious boys. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. She said I would hear something within the next day or two either way. Well several days went by and I figured that I didn't get it. Well much to my surprise one afternoon she called to see if I was still interested. I was thrilled! Not only is this the grade that I love at a really great school but it is Carter's school! The school that I knew several months before that he needed to go to. How good is God! He made this jet p...

A glimpse into daily life with our two precious boys. Monday, November 29, 2010. We had a great but busy Thanksgiving break. We spent the week in McDonough going back and forth between Nana and Papa's house and Memaw's house. Here is our week in pictures! Spent the day doing some early shopping on Tuesday. Lots of playing outside! On Tuesday Carter spent the night with my sister Sallie. I met them on Wednesday and we went to the little town of Senoia. I am in love with this place! Where has the time gone?

The Toler Family: February 2014
http://thetolerfamily.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 4, 2014. The Day the Clouds Came Down. Living in the mountains of central Mexico has been a new adventure for this Florida girl. The weather changes as quickly as the wind this time of year. One day we woke up to find the mountain covered in what we thought was a dense fog, but the fog didn't lifted as the day went on. We were sitting in the clouds and the clouds stayed around for two long, cold days. We were cold to the bone, and in the village, there is no place to get warm.

Monday, October 21, 2013. Making Memories Monday - Field Trip! One of the great things about studying U.S. History (homeschool) in rural Mexico, is that you don't have to go far out your front door to find people working and living much like our pioneer ancestors did a few hundred years ago. While reading. WARNING: There are many pictures in this blog entry. The process was so interesting and the colors so amazing! Here is the wool yard before it has been washed and dyed. The beginnings of a wool rug.

Monday, September 9, 2013. Making Memories Monday - Through the Eyes of a Child. He said, "Mom, the dew on the grass was just so beautiful this morning.". I pray that even when our life gets more settled, he will always take the time to notice the little details in God's great creation! Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants." Deuteronomy 32:2. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). More Morning of.}.
