Sunday, January 3, 2010. Our trip to Lake Tahoe was lots of fun, even though we were only there for about 30 hours. I do That's because I grew up in a time before digital cable or satelite, when, to paraphrase a popular joke, you only had 4 channels to choose from, and if the President was giving a speech that night, you were outta luck. Anyway.I was fast asleep by 9:30pm, which was a good thing since we needed to get up at the butt-crack of dawn to head out to the mountain. Friday, January 1, 2010.

Sunday, December 27, 2009. Jacob, Jay and I just watched "Up" for the first time. It was our first movie on our new Blue Ray player. I have never cried so hard during a movie in my life. Not Mufasa dying in Lion King, not the end of Beaches, not even The Notebook.this was so beautifully done. This is probably one of the best movies I have ever seen. Monday, December 28, 2009. Relaxing with the Family. Yesterday and today have been about relaxing. Gaby has been at her dad's house so I was able to tackle a deep cleaning of her bedroom and bathroom. The Christmas toys are finally all put away and I have a huge bag of donations for the Salvation Army. Josh will sleep in Gaby's room since she's at her dad's again tonight. I wonder if he'll enjoy sleeping on a twin size, pink bed with a Disney Princess comforter? Temptation is strong but I'm resisting!
