The other day she asked my tall girl person if they'd do that again this year. The answer came automatically "Yes, of course." Then it dawned on her that all of the big trees that dropped tons of leaves in the yard are gone. That's good news and bad news. No more raking (yea! Before (picture taken in 2004).

Monday, November 2, 2009. Lily had a lot of fun this Halloween. She dressed up as Snow White and went to a Trunk or Treat at Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's church. She loved getting (and eating! Candy and then running all the sugar off on the parking lot. You can click on the picture below to see the whole album. I even threw in some pics of her playing in the leaves for good measure. :). Now we're all just working on adjusting to the time change and figuring out how to ration out the leftover candy.

Thursday, July 01, 2010. My favorite time of year! I love being warm. I love lounging out by a pool or in my backyard. I love the smells of sunscreen, flowers, cut grass and BBQ. We are having a pretty relaxing summer and I love that! Cameron is in summer school - kindergarten! Rory, on the other hand, is trying to figure out what being an only child for 8 hours of the day is like. She likes to be close to me and sometimes I need a little space.ha! Saturday, December 26, 2009. Cameron was in her first Christmas play and I'm sure it won't be the last. She played an angel and had one of the longest lines. She did so great! Her class also sang three songs, one of which they learned sign language, too. They all did very well! Cami saying her line. The three blonde angels. For once, she posed without complaint! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. I've been told that all of the storm debris, tree and structural, has been cleaned up from my yard. It took almost 2 weeks longer than planned for the contractor to get a building permit from the city to start repairs, but he now has one and the roof was completed at the end of last week. No more tarps! We're all extra skiddish with severe storms now. Yesterday one blew up and I hid under a barstool. Lily crawled under with me and said "This is a good place to hide.".
