They are now not only proud parents of 6, but have included 6 in-law children, 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. They are an amazing example of the blessings and promises of temple marriage. They honor their covenants and the Lord in all that they do. We could not ask for better! We love you so much! The Misadventures of the Howells. Monday, July 19, 2010. On the Road to Seaside. It took quite a bit of convincing to get her to leave the beach. We cleaned up [and warmed up] and headed for the carousel-Sam's favorite part of Seaside. We ate our favorite pizza at Fultano's and got our favorite homemade ice cream at Zinger's. The Misadventures of the Howells. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. The ONLY Good Use for Beer. Yes, I said "beer.". I grabbed the cheapest bottle and rushed to the checkout. Luckily, we didn't see anyone from church. We came home and poured the nasty stuff into pie tins in the garden. It smelled awful. But, after all of that, it WORKED! We ended up catching over 30 slugs. I was so happy. And, we've been almost slug free ever since. The hardest part, other than the actual purchase, was keeping Sam away from it!

The Misadventures of the Howells. Sunday, July 4, 2010. Sweet Land of Liberty. Happy 4th of July! We celebrated this Independence Day with Grandma and Papa, as well as my brother, David, and his family. We enjoyed a delicious BBQ, thanks to Terry's mad grilling skills, along with spiced cupcakes with apple filling and whipped buttercream frosting-Yum! We love this country and the opportunity to celebrate our freedom. How blessed we are to live in the Promised Land! Happy Birthday, America! 50 Years of Me...
