Life in the Big-D. Thursday, August 12, 2010. Meg's first day of Mother's Day Out. She was so excited to finally go. I had been talking it up for months. Flamingos, Meg, Baby Morse #2, and Mama at the Dallas Aquarium. A very cool place; both literally, and figuratively. Meg and the flamingos. She liked them because, you guessed it, they are pink. Life in the Big-D. Friday, August 20, 2010. Kate's first month of life! Born July 10th at 4:22 pm. 8 pounds, 7 ounces. We're so glad you are here, Baby Kate! Thursday, August 12, 2010. July catch up, pre-baby. We were on baby watch in July. The Fourth of July weekend came and went but it was fun and packed with activities: parades, bounce house, swimming pools, fireworks show (so we hear), BBQs, etc. Sparklers. Good times. Nothing says summer like ice cream before 10:00 am. A quickly melting fudge pop.

I think everyone is ready for winter to be over- especially Scott. In an effort to start spending more time outside like it was spring we took the pups to the beach this week. It was a balmy 37 degrees on Monday which was nice- sadly enough. Cassidy. Always loves the beach and Delilah seemed to enjoy the running around as well.
