Life in the Moment: December 2012
http://greekpr1ncess.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Life in the Moment. Thursday, December 27, 2012. As I’m tempted to despair for this little girl, I’m reminded that God’s kingdom has different standards than the world. I am grateful that this little girl is participating in a church community that can reinforce the truths of God’s kingdom. And she reminds me of the tendency I have to base my security on health and wealth rather than the incredible grace of Jesus. Little Tonia, and may your burdens be made light in the loving arms of Jesus.

http://talesfromthailand-karla.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tales from Thailand and beyond. Monday, December 30, 2013. Christmas in the Park. Monday, December 23, 2013. I finally went Christmas Caroling with my roommate's Thai church this year. Well, actually I went caroling for half the night- I had been sick earlier in the week and couldn't make it until 5:40am! The Thais go caroling all night long! She took me home and the rest of them continued on. My roommate got home at 5:40am! For me I got to have the "best" of both worlds, because my other roommate was go...

Tales from Thailand and beyond. Wednesday, November 5, 2014. So many things to be thankful for. Being able to celebrate birthdays with family for the 1st time in 3 years! A 9 year old birthday party for a nephew and a 90th party for my Grandma. Meeting college students from Brasil! Fall leaves pretty on the trees and fun to kick on the ground. Family in the same time zone. Hugs from students.especially on the rough days. Co-workers who understand and take the time to give good advice, etc.

http://talesfromthailand-karla.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tales from Thailand and beyond. Saturday, November 30, 2013. During our October break we went to the "house boats" all photo credits go to my friend- cause I dropped my camera :( Mae Ngad Dam is the closest thing you can get to a Minnesota lake experience. Swimming, kayaking, and laying on the dock Thai style! We spent the night in one of these rooms. Our room.complete with a mosquito net. Our very own bathroom.you can see the water right under you. Don't worry I was told the pipes don't go directly into.

Tales from Thailand and beyond. Saturday, October 4, 2014. I haven't posted much since get back to the US. I think it is a mixture of a few things:. No different culture stories to tell. Not sure how to explain what it is like to come back to your "home culture" to live after 3 years. Not sure who would read my blog now. These are the reasons, but hopefully soon I will figure out the direction of the blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Abide in me, and I in you.

Tales from Thailand and beyond: January 2014
http://talesfromthailand-karla.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tales from Thailand and beyond. Friday, January 31, 2014. Goals Accomplished in January. Well I feel like I got a lot done in this last month! My mom is coming in a couple of days, so I really worked hard at school as well. I have pretty much the first 3 weeks of February planned as far as lessons go and have started planning for March Reading Month! Workout 4x a week. Run 10k outside a week. This was greatly helped by having someone to run with two days a week! At least 1 non-fiction book. Blog posts wi...

http://talesfromthailand-karla.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tales from Thailand and beyond. Saturday, May 31, 2014. Let's start with this "happy" picture of how I have finished cleaning the library and all my stuff is out of it. Ok, so maybe not happy, but at least I can check one thing off my list. This is what my room looks like at home. I am a great packer. I threw a bunch of things in a suitcase today. I am sure that will help, ha. Actually it is good cause I put things in that I am 100% sure I am taking with me. Got somethings to go through still. Close your...

Placidly Down the Liquid Solution: April 2013
http://placidlydowntheliquidsolution.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Placidly Down the Liquid Solution. Monday, April 29, 2013. Yesterday Justin and I dedicated Evan at church along with 3 other families and their babies. We really appreciated having my parents and my aunt Linda there with us, but we also wanted to share the information from the dedication with all of our family who weren't able to be there in person. Here are a few pictures from the dedication:. Pastor telling us how children are like arrows. Pastor praying a blessing on Evan. Then he took each of the ch...
