Wednesday, February 25, 2009. WFMW : Furniture Dents in Carpet. I'm redecorating my son's room, and one of the things I did was get him a bigger bed to replace his twin captain's bed. Of course, that meant I had to move furniture around. Where the captain's bed had been, I was left with those lovely dents in the carpet where the fibers had been compressed for so long. Friday, March 20, 2009. Painting a Tray Ceiling. I'm on a decorating roll! I'm re-decorating my son's room, and just finished the painting this week. I'm also re-doing my 13 year-old daughter's room. I'll write about those soon. This is my ceiling. I've been doing a little research to figure out exactly how to paint a tray ceiling. I've looked for pictures of tray ceilings, and people have done a lot of different things with theirs. On this ceiling, they have used an accent color on the lower layer.

Thoughts of a Mostly Stay At Home Mom. Saturday, May 16, 2009. This Seems Like A Repeat. I posted a picture similar to this about 11 months ago. Except the cast was blue and it didn't cover 2 of her fingers. But it's the same hand. Earlier this week she was playing basketball at P.E. and the ball came up and jammed her pinky finger and fractured the bone. This break is about a 1/2 inch higher than when she broke it last year. It's the time for injuries, I guess. Hope she's OK. XOXO. The WV = beersuc.
