February | 2010 | The Architecture of Possibility
https://thearchitectureofpossibility.wordpress.com/2010/02
The Architecture of Possibility. Archive for February, 2010. Today’s review was a good example of what I’ll be up against given the type of project I’ve chosen to pursue, particularly given the relatively conservative nature of Mid-Western architecture school expectations. Much of the review was spent critiquing the approach of fictional architecture rather than my actual proposal, which was not something I had […]. The Architecture of Possibility. Where do I go from here…. 8220;Their single room has turned into a labyrinth of many; its aggregate the physical projection of their ideas and their discoveries. Their labyrinth exists as the perpetual search for Giulio’s mythical theater – a mystical place of ultimate and absolute truth. I’ve heard they are still creating, still building. I know not if they will ever find what they are looking for; I pray they someday will.”. Feed for this Entry. Enter your comment here.
Thesis Presentation | The Architecture of Possibility
https://thearchitectureofpossibility.wordpress.com/2010/05/18/thesis-presentation
The Architecture of Possibility. Where do I go from here…. Here is a brief synopsis of my final presentation. I’ve still got a lot left that is floating around in my head or hiding on my hard drive to put out, but for now, this is the project. (note: feel free to skip over the textual parts as they can, at times, get quite lengthy and involved. There should be some pretty pictures scattered throughout). The Architecture of Possibility. Archive for January, 2010. I spend last night restoring and fixing this old underwood typewriter I bought last semester with the intention of dissembling. I’ve now decided to use it to write my fiction🙂. Its a beautiful, amazing piece of machinery. I started typing on it. It’s a bit different – i have to hit the keys pretty hard […]. Half-serious musings on architecture, student woes, and the quirks of life in the city. I'm pretty excited about my garden. Who knew tomatoes would like it so much here? This guy has exploded. And is choking out the beans. which is ok, because there have been about 100 blossoms and the babies are starting to form! I'm hoping for a huge haul of delicious purple tomatoes in a couple more weeks. =). Obviously, not a carrot. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Architecture, travel, food, americorps.

Half-serious musings on architecture, student woes, and the quirks of life in the city. Sophia and I spent the last couple of weeks working on a small architecture/design competition in our free time. All in all, we each spent about 15 hours total from start to finish. not a long time for doing collaborative design. It was enjoyable, and we are happy with the result. buildling: Book Club #2
http://buildling.blogspot.com/2011/09/book-club-2.html
Half-serious musings on architecture, student woes, and the quirks of life in the city. Summary of first Book Club meeting: Awesome. We all ready Hunger Games and had an incredible conversation. I made bread, Erin brought goat cheese, and we all drank wine while discussing the (arguably) imperfect story line. Summary of second Book Club meeting: also awesome. We decided on a number of pivotal things in our second meeting. First of all, to watch " Away We Go. The memoir by Keith Richards.

Half-serious musings on architecture, student woes, and the quirks of life in the city. THE FOREST (her home, her family, her way of life) to be represented by Goat Cheese and berries, the last meal she had before being swept up into the Games. PEETA and RUE (her best friends in the game) will be represented by two kinds of bread: a slightly burned loaf and a crusty, seedy roll. SURVIVAL (obviously important) will be toasted by our tall glasses of plain water. Books on the Waiting list:. What is the What.

Half-serious musings on architecture, student woes, and the quirks of life in the city. The plight of the poor. I know we are all busy. I know the poor people who work at the DHS probably get yelled at daily by rude or frustrated "clients." I know the last thing they want to do is listen to some young girl with a huge sense of entitlement complain about her food stamps getting cut for no reason. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
