The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: November 2012
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 1, 2012. This has been our second Halloween season as a married couple. Last year we didn’t really do much, aside from watch overly frightening episodes of Ghost Adventures (which we’ve officially banned from our house). This year we decided to shake things up a bit. First, we put up some decorations that we made for family home evening. About a week ago, Melissa came over and the three of us carved our pumpkins! Allow them to dry for a 2-3 days. They should be dry to the touch....

Monday, October 20, 2014. It was the last day on my family being in town for Daniel’s blessing, so we decided to go into the city. Our first stop was at New Orleans Seafood and Hamburger for lunch. Jordan Trying Alligator Poppers. Next, we visited St. Roch Cemetery #1. This is where Nick’s great-grandparents and many other members of his great-grandmother’s family share a tomb. The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: Daniel’s Blessing Day
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2014/10/daniels-blessing-day.html
Monday, October 6, 2014. Daniel’s Blessing Day. On May 23rd, my parents and one of my sisters flew back in to New Orleans. While my Mom had already met Daniel, my Dad, and Jordan had not. Normally their visits are full of running around to different places, but we left our schedule very open so that everyone could spend time with the baby for a few days. Getting Daniel Ready for Bed. Sleeping the Day Away. Snuggling with Aunt Jordan. Did you catch any of Daniel’s faces? We took a lot of pictures that day...

The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: Photo Shoot #4: Halloween Season
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2014/10/photo-shoot-4-halloween-season.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Photo Shoot #4: Halloween Season. The weather has been crummy off and on for the past couple of weeks. It seems like it is raining whenever Daniel is awake and ready to play. We were finally able to get out into some non-rainy, albeit cold, weather for some photos in a Halloween jumper that Daniel received from his Nani. I kept it simple on the camera effects this week, only using three, and did some editing using Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 Editor. So About What I Said.

The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: Photo Shoot #8: Hoppy Easter!
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2015/04/photo-shoot-8-hoppy-easter.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Photo Shoot #8: Hoppy Easter! Daniel has loved Easter! This is the first holiday where he has received candy, and he can’t get enough. He also loves the plastic eggs, taking them apart, and attempting to put them back together. I took him out today to get a couple of shots in his Easter outfit, and scout out some potential birthday cake-smash locations. Now THAT is a handsome gentleman! April 14, 2015 at 11:59 AM. Your photos look so professional! Happy birthday to him! Picture Wi...

The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: Photo Shoot #5: Geaux Saints!
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2014/10/photo-shoot-5-geaux-saints.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. Photo Shoot #5: Geaux Saints! I know, it feels like I only just posted my last shoot…and I did. The weather has been beautiful lately but it is supposed to get cold and rainy within the next few days. I wanted to make sure I was able to get a few pictures of Daniel in his Saint’s jersey before it got too cold (and before the outfit got too small). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: September 2012
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 26, 2012. I am not great at sewing. I’m just going to get that out there. I’ve done a few major projects, and certainly see the value but due to time constraints I have never gotten much practice (and time seems to be key). However, with my current school and work schedule, and the fact that Nick works just about every other Saturday, I have officially set a sewing goal for myself. I am going to sew my Christmas dress for this year! Wednesday, September 12, 2012. As part of documenti...

The New Adventures of Nick & Hillary: February 2013
http://nickandhillary.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 1, 2013. Snowshoeing in the Canyon. On January 19th we went to a snowshoeing activity with our ward. We had never been before, so we were excited to give it a try, even if I typically spend as little time in the snow as possible. I about froze to death waiting at the church, but surprisingly, it was much warmer up the canyon, even before we started our hike. We were at Big Springs Park in Provo Canyon (sort of near Vivian Park). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Snowshoeing in the Canyon.
