Annual Marathon Since 1972 - First Sunday in May. Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Course Records and Marathon Winners. The nearest commercial airport is Eureka/Arcata (ACV) about 60 miles to the north. The Airport is serviced by United Express, with flights to and from San Francisco and Sacramento. Rental cars are available, although there is a limited supply, make sure to reserve in advance. There is NO shuttle service available since the race is held in a rural area in a state park.
