The Back of the Tapestry: October 2012

The Back of the Tapestry. Life from the side of a mountain in the Appalachians. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. The early morning mist on the mountain and across the valley was cool and moist, reminding me of this verse. I am redeemed - I am His, even if I am not the perfect wife, mom, daughter, friend, or child of God. Thankful for His love, new days, and new beginnings. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Back of the Tapestry. Life from the side of a mountain in the Appalachians. Monday, April 1, 2013. First light here in the Appalachians, and this is the view down the mountain. The blue fog from the valley is rapidly rising, and will be rushing past the window in a matter of minutes. What. A breathtaking launch into April. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saturday, May 24, 2014. We spent the days before in excitement, though, plotting and planning what we would do while we were there. To say we were thrilled to get away from the responsibilities of life and experience something new would be an understatement and we did. Until we'd been there for approximately 3 days and then it happened. They started wanting to go home. Not to the beach. Not to the park. Not to a famous landmark or a boat ride thru the harbour. My heart is full! May 24, 2014 at 8:35 AM.

The Back of the Tapestry. Life from the side of a mountain in the Appalachians. Sunday, November 10, 2013. Rose Windows and Sunday Mornings. On the Sundays of my childhood, you would find us in the big church downtown. Taking up most of the pew, and under the watchful eyes of my parents, we learned about faith, love, and the need to sit still and listen. :) At the end of each sermon, the pastor would bless the congregation with this scripture:. The Lord bless you and keep you;. And be gracious to you;.
