Tenney Time: February 2012
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 5, 2012. Remember how the little crustacean on "Finding Nemo" says, "I am ashamed! When he gets caught cleaning the tank? Instead of a trite "sorry," he says, "I am ashamed," with conviction and a french accent to boot. So . . . I am ashamed of my inconsistent posting and rather than trying to catch up, I'll just post a few recent pictures and some news. Little May is losing teeth. Yes, my baby May is growing up so fast! She has taken to calling me M-O-M instead of mom. She continues to ...

Tenney Time: November 2011
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 17, 2011. I made borscht for dinner for the following reasons:. 1 My husband served his mission in Ukraine and it brings back memories for him,. 2 I had beets and carrots still in the ground, begging to be eaten. 3 Lots of veggies and no fat if you leave out the meat. I have learned the following lessons:. 1 There are a hundred different ways to make borscht and the way I made it is not the way my husband was taught. When I was finished I was quite discouraged because:.

Tenney Time: Thankful Thursday
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2012/11/thankful-thursday.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. I'm grateful for my wood stove with a window in the front so I curl up and just stare at the flames. Sleep Where would I be without the opportunity to reset and restart? I love my babies and I'm so thankful for each one and the blessings that they have brought to me. I'm grateful for music and the influence for good that it has. I'm grateful for new opportunities and adventures. I'm thankful for all the people in my life that have lifted me up and made me who I am.

Tenney Time: May 2012
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 4, 2012. I heard somewhere that Americans are basically hard wired to look for greener pastures. The pilgrims came here in search of it, and generations after them moved here for a new start and better opportunities, and that desire has been passed down to us. So you see, I'm not discontent. My wander lust is genetic! I keep singing "Little Purple Pansies" to myself , but sometimes I just want to get out of this town! So what's keeping us here? I don't know, but it does seem closer.

Tenney Time: Yet another post of random thoughts
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2012/10/yet-another-post-of-random-thoughts.html
Sunday, October 28, 2012. Yet another post of random thoughts. I lead a blessed life. I really do. I'm so grateful for my own little family and the love we share. Someday I will have to stop calling my family little and face the facts that we are a family of six. SIX! When did this happen? It's amazing how just when you feel like you're getting the hang of things they change and you have to adapt. You're just getting comfortable and suddenly you're pushed out of the zone and you have to grow some more.

Tenney Time: December 2011
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. Umm, Where should I start? So much unblogged about water has gone under the bridge. I guess this will be one of those "month (or two or three) in review" posts. May and Ellen had their primary program a few weeks ago and they both did an excellent job on their parts. It was Ellen's first time and she wasn't nervous at all. Here is my incredibly cute baby Lilly! She has recently discovered her toes. All my sweet babies. I tell them regularly to stop growing.to no avail. We are a...

Tenney Time: A Glass Half.....
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-glass-half.html
Sunday, March 3, 2013. Lilly has been sick and needs constant holding. I should be loving it, but I'm kinda going crazy. Sometimes I get discouraged by the fact that most of what I do is never finished. Laundry and dishes, scrubbing and sweeping, cooking and cleaning. I do it and it is undone immediately. Sometimes I get so disheartened that I just don't do those things for a day or two, but that just makes me feel worse. My husband is wonderful. I love him and relate to him in so many ways. He s...Some ...

Tenney Time: April 2012
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2012. A disjointed, all over the place, random post. I spoke in church today. I always get super nervous, but I'm always grateful for the things I learn. Um. and I always cry. Even when it's a dry topic. It was not a dry topic today. Today is my wonderful Mother's birthday. We had her over for lunch and used a table cloth and our best china. Love you mom! My little brother cracks me up. He was doing Strong Bad impressions while we played blockus. Our garden is growing!

Tenney Time: Journey To The Temple
http://metenney.blogspot.com/2012/08/journey-to-temple.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. Journey To The Temple. In about 30 hours from now I will be embarking on a journey that I've been preparing for nearly the whole year. For more than six months I've been walking in the freezing cold, blistering heat, monsoon rain, and northern Arizona wind in preparation for a 22 mile Journey to the Temple with the Holbrook Stake youth. I'm excited and nervous and READY! When I focus on my abilities and blessings and the distance that I have already come, I am encouraged and st...
