Monday, February 6, 2012. Charlie arrived home on December 21, 2011 for two weeks or rest and recuperation from Afghanistan. We surprised the kids, as they had no idea that we were picking him up at the airport. I even got them passes to the gate and made it through security without blowing my cover! Sunday, October 31, 2010. Where did this weather go? A couple of months ago it was warm enough for this in Fairbanks. now we have 5 inches of snow and it's FRIGID! Jordan's First Swim Meet. Today was Jordan's very first swim meet. We arrived at the pool bright and early at 7:30 this morning. Jordan had 2 events to swim. A 25 meter butterfly and a 25 meter backstroke. He was so incredibly nervous that I thought he was going to run and hide in the locker room. He did great! Getting a pep-talk from his coach.
