The fun part is that the pool is supplied from a warm spring. The water is clean and warm and the kids had a great time. Monday, June 7, 2010. Jason recently took a trip to Beijing to meet some friends coming to visit. While there, they decided to camp on the Great Wall and then hike a section of unrenovated Wall. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. We are back from having a great little family vacation. We went a little west of where we live and we climbed a mountain, rode on yaks and saw some beautiful scenery. Sunday, September 27, 2009. Jason's Trip Up North. We are having a holiday here in China with the 60th anniversary of the country and the Mid-Autumn Festival coming back to back, so Jason took to the rails and visited some friends in provinces north of us. Friday, April 2, 2010. We have had two showers and two light sprinklings of rain in the last week. Hooray! The drought is still very severe, but thank goodness we have gotten some relief. I wouldn't be surprised if some Chinese farmers weren't out dancing in it. (Okay, actually I would be a little surprised.). Onitsuka Tiger Fabre Tokidoki, Onitsuka Tiger Online Store. On a side note, its neat that this summer we were on a glacier in our province and in the winter we were sweating in the jungle, also in our province. Thursday, May 14, 2009. Emily Catherine Winkle was born on May 11, 2009 to Jason's brother Johnny and his wife Amy. She weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and was 19 1/4 inches long.
