The Baking Bailey: August 2009
http://thebakingbailey.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 10, 2009. Mike loves key lime pie. I had never really had it before so I thought I would make one. This recipe is super simple and very good. The pie didn't last a week in the house, it really had no chance. I used a pre-made crust so the recipe below is just for the filling. 1 cup key lime juice. 2- 14 oz. cans sweetened condensed milk. Zest of 2 limes. I had heard about this fried corn business online and knew we had to try it. So glad we did because it was so good! 1 clove of whole peel...

Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Friends, Family and a night of fun. Okay, it's been since valentines day since we had all gotten together - everyone has just been busy with life and time sure flies by before you know it! It was memorial day weekend and a great opportunity for us to see one another. I enjoyed the dinner and seeing all the kids - it's been way too long! Danae and I proceeded to do a nasty bottoms up shot of redbull. I totally enjoyed it but it went too quick! Here are a few pictures of the evening:.

Christine's Dash: Too busy
http://christinesdash.blogspot.com/2009/05/too-busy.html
Friday, May 29, 2009. I have been so busy that I haven't had an opportunity to keep up this blog. So let me catch up on some of the few moments of enjoyment. About 4 weeks ago I went and visited Madison, Georgia. I had read several articles about this small town which is located about an hour outside of Atlanta and finally checked it out. I went Friday night and wanted to check out a popular restaurant that everyone said I HAD. Cute place a definite must do if you are in the area. Remember I'm a NEWBEE.

The Baking Bailey: Chinese Beef & Broccoli
http://thebakingbailey.blogspot.com/2010/03/chinese-beef-broccoli.html
Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Chinese Beef and Broccoli. Sorry for the blurry picture. This is a super easy and extra tasty beef and broccoli recipe. The broccoli is nice and tender but still have a bit of crunch, which I love. The beef is perfect! I make this about twice a month, maybe more. Source: The Steamy Kitchen Cookbook. 4 pound flank or sirloin, sliced thinly across the grain. 3/4 pound broccoli florets. 2 tablespoons high-heat cooking oil. 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water.
