They are so easy to make, you get to squidge the mixture in your hands, you get to watch as your golf ball sized bits of mixture turn into beautiful looking cookies and then you get to eat them warm out of the oven. I only recently bought the ingredients and finally made them myself. No cooking required and you can be eating them within 10 minutes. This recipe is adapted from Susan Jane White. Recipe – Makes 20-30 depending on size. 60ml almond butter – I use meridian. 2 tbsp cacao powder (not to be confused with cocoa powder).

I decided to make my Easy Peasy Lemon Cheesy-cake. It’s a firm favourite in our house. Jess loves to help me make this and eat it. After lining my tin, I start by crushing my biscuits (always good for taking out frustrations on). Mix with the butter and press into the tin well, pop it into the fridge. Look at the difference.

I have recipes I can use from my German mother. So I searched through her recipes and planned it all then at the last minute changed my mind, after all it is a ladys perogative. I made the creme patissiere from here. It is easy to make and freezes well. 1 packet of dry quick yeast. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Preheat oven to 180c.

I don't know about any of you, but I have the hardest time coming up with dinners that my 4 kids will eat that Mommy and Daddy will enjoy too! The other night I made a meal that I HOPED everyone would enjoy. Ground Beef was the Meat Du Jour and that is usually the most difficult for me to please everyone with. So this is what I came up with. Italian Stuffed Peppers for Mommy and Daddy. And Mini Meatballs for the Kiddos.
