Life with the Johnsons: First Soccer Game
http://uncjohnsons.blogspot.com/2013/09/first-soccer-game.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Here are some thoughts from Tyler's first soccer game this past weekend. He was by far the most tenacious player out there- both on offense and defense! We all had a great time and I think I've caught a glimpse of what my future will be like with 2 boys. Looks like fun. Glad the whole family, plus Grandmama and Grandaddy, got to enjoy the big game. Directly after the game, Mommy: "Tyler, how many goals did you score? Sam even had a good time. Life with the Johnsons.

Life with the Johnsons: August 2013

Thursday, August 15, 2013. Yes, I realize it's been since March since we've posted. So sorry. And yet again, when I do post, it's just a quick re-cap of what we've been up to over the past few months. We've been busy, I mean. But who isn't I guess. Poor baby Sam got a spider bite in early Spring. Don't worry, he didn't have to lose his leg. We went to several Durham Bulls games before it got too hot. Notice "bee-bee" (blanket) with Sam. He carries that everywhere these days. Ross and Susan got married!

Saturday, September 28, 2013. Baby's First Hair Cut. Well, it only took 22 months, but we finally got Sam's hair cut. We were loving that baby mullet and were having a hard time saying goodbye, which is why it took so long. Both boys were bald for such a long time after their birth, we just didn't have to worry about haircuts for quite a while. Here's some shots:. Just a little off the back, please. I can't believe you're doing this to me! Thursday, September 19, 2013. We Belong in the Zoo. Here are some...

Life with the Johnsons: June 2012
http://uncjohnsons.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. We had a wonderful Father's Day. Not only did we get to spend some quality time with the family, but the weather was absolutely perfect which added to everyone's enjoyment. Leslie and Andrew both got to sleep in because the boys had spent the night over with Grandmama and Grandaddy in Raleigh. Meanwhile, at Grandmama and Grandaddy's house the boys were both up by 5:00 am- eeeeeekkkk! So Sorry Grandmama and Grandaddy! Are we all looking at the camera? It's a Father's Day Miracle!

Monday, December 10, 2012. On the Upswing Hopefully. Although not walking quite yet, here's Sam walking with his walker. (Video taken several weeks ago when he was feeling good.). Susan mailed me the softest UNC socks ever. So comfy for lounging around the house at night! Look who promptly stole them from me. Tyler and Daddy climbing a neighbor's tree. Magnolias make the best climbing trees. Baby Sam snoozing in Mommy and Daddy's bed at home from school (one of many days) with a fever. The Real Full House.

Life with the Johnsons: November 2012
http://uncjohnsons.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Now a days, Sam can be found lunging his body off the bed or attempting to throw himself down the stairs while we're trying our hardest to get both of the boys to bed. Meanwhile, Tyler is up to his old tricks of "playing" with his younger brother, aka rough housing or "gently" pushing, knocking blocks on Sam's head, or some other wrestling move. This is our solution to providing a contained way we can let them play together in a somewhat safe manner. And they love it! Before w...

Life with the Johnsons: March 2013
http://uncjohnsons.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Here We Go Again. This is a pretty poor quality video, but I think you'll get the gist. Sam is enjoying this. I promise. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Back in the Saddle Again. Are you under there? Just wondering because your Ramses hat looks like it's about to take over the world. This pillow is a bit lumpy. Monkey see, monkey do. Staring contest between uncle and nephew. Daddy and Tyler have been attending Lowes and Home Depot. Build and grow" workshops. Let me loose- I gotsa play!

Wednesday, August 15, 2012. If you live in the Triangle area and do not take advantage of Pullen Park, then you're crazy! It re-opened this Spring after major renovations and we've been several times since. Tyler was most looking forward to riding the boats this time. He had a blast. After the boat ride, we all took a family trip on the train. Marcus and Tyler had a good time pretending to blow the train's whistle. Sam just enjoyed watching everyone. You're crazy if you think I'm getting on that. The Joh...

Life with the Johnsons: October 2012
http://uncjohnsons.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 22, 2012. The kids have gone to bed, we've finally eaten our dinner and I'm just sitting here drinking my wine, waiting for Andrew to return with my yogurt with peanut butter cup toppings. So I thought I'd update the blog with some fun times from this year's State Fair. As per the last several years, Grandmama and Grandaddy met us early at the fairgrounds- with ham biscuits! We scarfed those down easily (with lots of mustard, of course), then headed straight to the rides. On a sadder note...
