http://thehawkinsunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 23, 2013. Allen and I spent a four day weekend in Paris celebrating 10 years of marriage! Wow, what an adventure it has been and I would have NEVER dreamt that we would get to celebrate our 10th in Paris with Joe and Ashleigh! This year has been a hard year for our family but at the same time one of the sweetest in our marriage. God was so gracious to give us such a special anniversary celebration! At the top of the Eiffel Tower on May 17th! Team Hawkerson in Paris! Monday, May 13, 2013.

The Hawkins: He's now the middle child...
http://thehawkinsunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2015/07/hes-now-middle-child.html
Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He's now the middle child. Our 5 year old middle child. Love him! He is so much fun and a lot of work too. He is so full of life. He LOVES LOVES LOVES Anna. He was the first to see her roll and he can make her giggle. He is also the one we have to keep an eye on. He tried to pick her up because she was crying. He loves to climb. The higher the better. He will work at something until he can figure it out. He has always loved puzzles and I think that climbing is a puzzle to him.

The Hawkins: June 2015

Sunday, June 28, 2015. The story of our Anna Joy. I did not have a doctor in the US and there were just a myriad of emotions. However, my Heavenly Father is always, always so gracious and provides above and beyond what I could have asked or imagined. We immediately called a sweet friend in Columbia who knew the history and I said, "help, I need an ob/gyn! And so we started the waiting game because that is what the first trimester is. And would you like that? Finding out we have a baby girl! One of the sw...

The Hawkins: September 2013

Thursday, September 19, 2013. St Matthews here we come! My boys started school! Ben started reception and Nate started nursery. Ben goes all day long and Nate does a half a day. At 3, children are eligible for 15 hours of preschool/nursery. Last year, Ben went to Noah's Ark and loved it. But since Ben is now at St. Matthews, it made sense for Nate to be there as well. In July, the boys both went to St. Matthews for what they call a "settling in" session. Such a big boy! Nate's first day of school was Tue...

The Hawkins: January 2014

Wednesday, January 1, 2014. A look back at 2013. I was looking back at all of our pictures from 2013. There are a lot but here are some of the highlights for me. Ben and Nate-what a beautiful friendship they are forming. They now play so nicely together and fuel each other's imagination. Up until this year, they were sort of in their own worlds. Now they love to play together and cheer each other on. Love it! We got a weekend of snow in January. I love snow! In February, we moved again! I ran my first 10...

He loves animals so we had an animal themed party for him. I had a lot of fun planning this party and I am SO thankful for pinterest! We had a gorgeous Saturday here which was perfect because everyone we invited came! Our big 3 year old! Our back yard/garden, depending on who is reading this! We played pin the chameleon in the jungle.

Sunday, September 28, 2014. The Earl of Sandwich. Yesterday we took a road trip to a little town called Deal to pick up some chairs for our kitchen table. A cute little seaside town. We drove through Dover on the way and then headed to Sandwich afterwards. Kind of fun to be able to go to where the sandwich was first "created". We had a beautiful day and found a fun park/playground on the bay. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Year 1 and Reception! Just a gift from God. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Hawkins: December 2013
http://thehawkinsunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. On Thursday morning, Reception and older had their nativity at St. Matthews Church. The children all did a great job and they truely told the Christmas Story complete with a prayer at the end. Thankful that my boys get to be a part of a school that has a Christian perspective. At the beginning, I slipped up to the front and grabbed a quick pic of Ben. He was so excited! We sat by one of Nate's friends from school. Passport, Chipotle and Winter Wonderland. Here the boys are col...
