Wednesday, February 27, 2013. As we arrived at the theater this was the sign outside. I expected there to be more photo ops inside but there weren't. Before we left I tried to get some cute shots of the kids dressed up, but they weren't in the mood. Meghan wouldn't get anywhere near the couch so I asked her to give Colin a hug, and the girl practically ran over to comply. Friday, August 2, 2013. Meghan is 23 Months old. Look who is 23 months old! We have been out galavanting around the city this summer, leaving little time for blog updates. Trying to get this up before we get too close to her 2nd birthday! Monday, June 30, 2014. Meghan is 2 and 3/4 years old! On the flip side she can be the funniest and most adorable little thing. Saturday, July 27, 2013. Colin is 5 Years Old! Colin had a birthday party with lots of friends from school and the neighborhood. He specifically requested a "fireworks" themed party which worked really well for me since all of the July 4th decorations were 50-75% off! Thursday, December 26, 2013. Christmas Card (with out takes). All in all I was thrilled with how they came out. The kids had so much fun taking the pictures. If it weren't below freezing when we took them we probably could have gone on for quite some time. Here are some of the more amusing outtakes from our photo shoot. The first few pictures the only snow in the shot was from Colin. Meghans technique was less than effective at actually getting the snow to move. Here shes moving so fast she is just a blur.

Wednesday, April 16, 2014. This is the living room. The front door to the apartment is about ten feet behind the photographer. That is the front door in the distance. The dining room is at the back of this photo. Here is a closer view of the dining room. Here is our teeny tiny half bath. Which lets be honest, for about 9 months of the year its a closet because we simply don't have enough space to put all our stuff. The second bedroom. Colin's domain on the left. Friday, April 18, 2014. We are buying a house! We aren't going to be homeless. We are now officially in contract on our apartment and on a house! We are scheduled to close on the house a few days before we close on the apartment but nothing is finalized. The house we are buying is in a great neighborhood and a great school district. It has a nice sized backyard for the area and we got it for a great price. The catch? The front of the house. I love the beautiful bow window! The living room and dining room.
