Our Family: Who, me?
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2014/05/who-me.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Most of the time, I feel like sometimes my identity is so wrapped up in being a wife and mom, that it is hard for me to even think of myself apart from those titles. I love being those things, but I sometimes think to myself, "What do I even enjoy doing other than just having a break from the daily routine of taking care of everyone? Because right now, I consider any alone time- be it anything from a relaxing spa treatment to a visit to my OB/GYN- something I enjoy! My feelings bac...

Our Family: 6 month old beauties
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2014/03/6-month-old-beauties.html
Thursday, March 27, 2014. 6 month old beauties. The sweet babes are already half a year old (I am a little late to post), and are more fun with each passing day. Their unique personalities are starting to become more evident, which is so much fun! Even if they are hungry, they will wait it out much longer if we are driving. This was helpful when we were 45 minutes away and it was time for them to eat. I didn't know if they would let us go the whole way, but they did! So, here is the old schedule:. I will...

Our Family: August 2013
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 27, 2013. 36 weeks. . . and still pregnant! I have mixed feelings about being pregnant at this point. Obviously, the overwhelming emotion is gratitude to God for such a healthy and long twin pregnancy. However, I am EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and ready for these babies to come on out! It sounds like I am complaining a lot, but this is just the reality of my daily life! The next post I do will hopefully be when the babies are born! Thursday, August 15, 2013. A wonderful friend took these pic...

Our Family: 8 months old!
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2014/05/i-probably-say-this-with-each-passing.html
Tuesday, May 20, 2014. I probably say this with each passing month, but I really CAN'T BELIEVE the twins are 8 months old already! In just four months, they will be turning one! This is so sad to me in a way because I feel like, of all my children, the twins' "babyhood" has been passing the most quickly. I have never been one to get very emotional about my kids growing up. Each new stage has just seemed exciting and fun (and hard, in a lot of ways too! Well, at eight months old the twins:. Have started t...

Our Family: May 2015
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. It's been too long. . . Well, life has been going a mile a minute, and although I wish I had more time to blog, there are plenty of good things to keep me busy instead. Here is a list of random recent happenings here at the Lungwitz house. I can still call them that! It kind of feels good in a way to see her assert some independence and defiance. I could use a good deal less of that from Sally though. Haha! We are doing well. Ryan will be done with school on Friday! I am really g...

Our Family: October 2013
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 22, 2013. A Day In The Life. . . The number one question I got when we found out we were having twins (and the number one question in my own brain) was "How are you going to do it? That is, how was I going to manage to take care of my two older girls (who will be 3 and 4 in December) and twin newborns while Ryan was at work? Also, my amazing and generous friend Sarah Beth has been coming 2 days a week and staying as long as I need her (pretty much all day! 7:30-8:30am: Sophie and Sally g...

Our Family: The twins are ONE!
http://mamahollyjo.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-twins-are-one.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2014. The twins are ONE! Well, I remember going to a first birthday party for a set of twins a year ago when our twins were a month old. It seemed UNFATHOMABLE that our twins would be one, be sleeping through the night, eating all kinds of food on their own, etc. But, here we are! We just had a family get together for the twins a few weeks later. We were so excited that Ryan's brother Shane and his family could make it! And sometimes, my answer was yes! How would God get me through?
