Friday, April 5, 2013. Friday Foto Fun - Swing! Last weekend, Shanna's dad and I built a playset for the kids in our backyard. It was a playground kit, so it was nice not having to worry about measuring and cutting to the right specs. There were a number of directions, so it took all day (and I still have a couple items to attach once I get missing pieces from the manufacturer today - slide attachment and rope ladder). Monday, June 10, 2013. Well, it's been two months since an update, so I guess we've been pretty busy lately. Shanna has been wrapped up in trying to get a Classical Conversations home school tutorial group set up in Nolensville (a town just south of us) that she will be directing and Aiden will participate in. Shanna traveled to Nicaragua the first week of April to visit her sister. The weather has been nice so I've had plenty of mowing, landscaping and gardening to tend to. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, April 27, 2012. Here's some fun with the kids yesterday. Happy Friday everyone! Aiden wanted to go look at the tomatoes we planted earlier in the week. He asked why we couldn't pick them yet. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. A Tribute To Merrill Ohlson. Shanna's grandfather, Merrill Ohlson, passed away mid-November. He was 93 years old. Loved God. Loved to serve others. For the ten years I've known him, he has always been full of energy, led Bible studies in his church, and served the Lord. Here is a tribute video that will be played during his service on November 30, 2013. Our son, Owen Merrill Bauman, was given his middle name after Merrill. Thanks for the legacy you left Merrill.

Saturday, February 16, 2013. Well, it's been a while since we updated. It's been a busy January. So here are a few highlights of things that we've been up to the last couple months. Inspecting grandpa's model train accessories. Aiden and I got to watch Vanderbilt beat NC State at the Music City Bowl on Dec. 31. It was about 42 degrees and a lot of fun. Owen enjoyed cake on his birthday. The kids took a 6 weeks gymnastics class. A day off on MLK day resulted in a trip to a discovery science center in town.

Monday, January 14, 2013. Today is January 14, 2013. That means Owen turned 1 yesterday! It has been a wonderful year, and Owen has brought many smiles and laughs to all of us, and everyone who knows him. He is a very happy boy, with a lot of energy. At times, we call him our little monkey boy because he loves to crawl on, through, and over things. He's not afraid to get in the middle of a wrestling pile either.
