Sunday, April 15, 2007. Trinidad, located in the Eastern Bolivian Amazon region, is a city of approximately 80,000. The area is tropical and characterized by water and jungle. Saturday, September 15, 2007. I recently spent three-weeks flying around the state of Washington in search of some very specific flora. While there, I stayed in Yakima, Moses Lake, and Walla Walla (my favorite). I also made side trips to Seattle and Leavenworth. I had a great time: I flew about 115 hours and got to see some very beautiful areas of Washington (and some not so beautiful - sorry Moses Lake). The Blue Shark partolling the skies near Omak, Wash. When we were in Times Square I saw a guy in an Elmo custom waving at the crowd, so thinking it would make a good picture for Lyla. I wandered over to get my picture with him.
