The Beekeeper - Scotch Lake Apiaries

The best honey is local, raw and unpasterised. At Scotch Lake Apiaries, we produce some of the finest honey in the world, from Apple Blossom to Goldenrod to Star Thistle. Our main apiary lies along the George's River on a ridge of the Barrichois Hills at Scotch Lake in Cape Breton. Once per year, in May, we offer beekeeping classes to 10 students and invite the public to the introductory class. Specialty honey, beeswax products, seasonal produce are some of the items you can purchase from Scotch Lake .
