May 28, 2012. Appearance: Pours a dark amber almost chestnut hue. The off white head is very minimal, which is to be expected at this ABV range, with ample alcohol legs and subtle lacing. Smell: At first there is an intense grapefruit aroma with a subtle sweet bread-y malt backdrop. As the brew warms the piney resinous aromas begin to shine.
