Sunday, October 4, 2009. I left at 7am for work on Friday. The sheet rock. Was up, plain and sheet rocky. I came home Friday from work, the sheet rock. We have our kitchen back for a couple more weeks before the counters are torn out and it becomes not so usable. For a while. The kids dont even seem to realize that anything is different, they just ride their bike through the plastic doors and over the bumps of the protective floor covering as if its just a new obstacle. SONGS IN THE KEY OF AWESOME! The Benders traversed a tough, humble road to get to where they are now. Founding member Stephanie has played with many of the usual suspects throughout the years. There have been a few members who have passed through as Benders but none have stuck. There was. So it's just lil' ole her for now. She's constantly writing, recording songs in her DIY, Lo-fi style and spreading joy to anyone who will listen.
