Sunday, August 31, 2014. We were headed down south for my niece Maddie's Baptism on the first Saturday in August. But since Jotham was already going to be flying into SLC friday evening from a business trip, the kids and I headed down a day early and made a few stops along the way before we picked him up. Thursday night Uncle Philip agreed to let the kids "babysit him" while Beth and I ran a few errands and enjoyed some shopping at Gardner's Village and Ikea. After dinner we headed to the Capitol Buildin...

http://ahandfulofhatchlings.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter.html
Monday, April 6, 2015. It was hard celebrating Easter and General Conference on the same day. Too much of a good thing? Definately too much candy. We started off with simply decorated eggs:. But before the 1st egg hunt, they'd somehow gone. Through another session of beautification:. Saturday morning we attended the Benson Ward hunt, it was ccccccold. Then after the 1st session of conference we headed off to Grandma and Grandpa's house. And more egg hunts, baskets and cousins. View my complete profile.

Going through the game closet Hyrum found our How to Host a Murder Mystery "The Last Train to Paris" - the game Jotham and I played on our very first date! He has a really great group of friends and wanted to play, and how can I deny that boy anything? The girls definitely got into it more than the boys. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Hannah Jo Turns Twelve. Jotham was out of town, stuck in Nashville Tennessee for work (enjoying the. In reality, they cr...

Friday, July 31, 2015. Jotham crossed another item off his bucket list. He's wanted to go to africa ever since I can remember, so he was more than a little excited when he was asked to present at the South African National Convention for Chem-Dry. Here he is repelling off of Table Mountain his first day. Its one of the longest commercial repels in the world. You can see Cape Town in the background. At Aquila Game reserve he saw lots of wildlife and most of the big five. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Hollie ha...

Sunday, January 12, 2014. Little did you know. 1 I don't like walking around in bare or stocking feet. So, I usually wear slippers. I still have and even recently been caught wearing old bunny slippers from my junior high days. 2 I have some mad taco rolling, floral bow making and Excel skills left over from old high school jobs. 4 I love fog, I find it very romantic. 6 I have a secret, guilty pleasure involving a spoon and an unhealthy amount of peanut butter and honey mixed together in a bowl. 10 I act...

Friday, April 11, 2014. It all started back in February when I was feeling a little stir crazy and started dreaming about a vacation near the beach and then when the tax return came back a little larger than expected, we decided to go ahead with it. Day One: Travel to St. George. Stay in a Hotel. We were glad to be headed somewhere warmer Sunday afternoon as we left Cache Valley amidst snow flurries. Day Two: Swim at Hotel, Visit Brigham Young House. Gavin thought it was too cold too! We'd planned on exp...

a handful of hatchlings: Hatch Family Reunion
http://ahandfulofhatchlings.blogspot.com/2015/08/hatch-family-reunion.html
Tuesday, August 11, 2015. This year we spent the week leading up to the fourth of July at Willow Flat and as always enjoyed spending time with family and the good ol' outdoors. We so appreciated Jessianne for planning the event. Heidi taught the kids how to make rafts and they spent a good portion of one afternoon building and floating their boats. We hiked up to the spring one morning. Mark and Ben were enlisted to help create some much needed shade. And oh, the fun and memories created with cousins:.
