Wednesday, July 28, 2010. We were able to go to the beach to hang out with our Shaw family this year. It was a blast as always! It was a grand time with our family! Ava Grace and I were fortunate to stay the entire week with Cece, Uncle Doug, Aunt Stacey, and Luke. Unfortunately, Tim was only able to join us for part of the week. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. It is always a treat when we get to enjoy this meal! We ate and ate and ate until we literally could not move! I thought we were going to have to take a nap before heading home. Aunt Lila had a few goodies for everyone of which Ava Grace was most impressed with the little boxes of cereal that she could choose from. It is always a great time to get together with all of them. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. We had a great trip to Philadelphia! The weather was perfect - sunny, 75 degrees during the day, and 55 degrees at night (without any humidity). Upon arrival on Friday night, it was only fitting that we experience the true Philly Cheesesteak. I must say.it is all that it is cracked up to be. Monday, February 14, 2011. We had an awesome getaway to Jamaica during December! Our evenings were spent eating yummy food and then either singing karaoke, watching dancing contests, or sipping wine while talking with others. Everyone at the resort was very friendly all the time! Monday, February 14, 2011. Going to the Wolf. Ava Grace has had her first skiing/tubing experience at Wolf Laurel! She had a ball! By the time the fun was over, she was exhausted and ready for a nap! The warmth was wonderful! So, with all the fun and excitement of the day, I think another winter day is in our future, especially when we have access to the Wolf! Tuesday, May 25, 2010. About a week and a half ago, my mom's family got together for my cousin's wedding. It was one of the best weekends ever! My aunt and uncle from South Florida drove up and my cousins and great-aunt from Alabama came. We all stayed at a place called Turkey Ridge, which is in Edgefield County. The place was amazing!
