I don’t know what has come over me, but I think it’s the end of the year. Mrs. Schmelzer's First Grade Class: Martin Luther King, Jr.
http://mrsschmelzer.blogspot.com/2012/01/martin-luther-king-jr.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Martin Luther King, Jr. What an inspiration these stories were to my students. They were really intrigued with Ruby Bridges, Rosa Parks, and ML King’s Dreams. They just couldn’t believe those things happened to Rosa, Ruby, and Martin! After reading several biographies about MLK we made these pictures of him and then wrote about our own dreams to make the world a better place. Wow, 6 and 7 year olds really do understand that we need to work together! I was soooo impressed!

I was deeply touched. What a wonderful surprise! Barbara's blog is always inspiring and filled with easy, practical and worthwhile ideas, and they are free. However there are three blogging friends whose support and cheery comments have really helped me, and guess what, Barbara is one of those! I have pictures and the s...

http://kristanking06.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
The semi-adventures of me! Tuesday, August 20, 2013. So sometimes I get blinders on. I mean - it HAS to be MY way {it is the best way, after all}! A former teammate and friend once held up her index finger and revolved the other index finger around the stationary one - stating, "Okay, so it's Kristan (stationary index finger) and the world (revolving finger).". Saw this and it cracked me up. Sometimes, it just is this:. Anyone else get a selfish streak every now and then? Kristan L. King. Just like my li...
