Thursday, August 6, 2015. The kids declared this the busiest summer we've ever had. We have vowed to not be so busy next summer and just enjoy the time assigned for doing nothing. Yeah, we'll see how that goes. As soon as we got back from the beach, the boys left for 4H Camp at Rock Eagle. One week of sleeping away from home, in a cabin on a bunk bed, in the middle of no-where. Not allowed to call home, not even once. They were in heaven. (hahahaha! Cody, Seth, Colton and Dax. And isnt this Garden sign too cute? 65279; I picked it up yesterday at Hobby Lobby for 50% off! 65279;We also purchased a strawberry plant in a hanging basket about 2 weeks ago and we now have our very first strawberry - he is so cute! Just about ready to be picked! My kids will fight over who gets the first one so. I will probably just take it!

April 24: Four and Twenty. January 2, 2013. Okay, no promises here… but I’m posting for the first time in, gulp,. New Years was fabulous. My TBPOMD cohort Lisa and I went with the husbands, and friends Jen and Matt, to a concert. The lead singer had a very “Jesus who lives in Brooklyn” look. We rang in the new year eating tacos, watching Weekend at Bernie’s, drinking sloe gin. So far the year is off to a great start.
