Monday, June 11, 2012. If I wasn't so tired. I wouldn't be so grumpy in the morning and I might actually feel like making a real breakfast;. Sunday, April 11, 2010. My friend Brittany shared some happy things happening in her life and it got me thinking about my great couple of days. I need to document them. The point is, it felt so wonderful to share that time with my family. My children were happy playing together. My husband was handy in the kitchen. I got to help and watch and appreciate all while holding William, loving and watching over him. This was a "happy moment" for me. And navigate this life confidently.". Labels: The Mommy in me.

Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Today I believed myself when I said "I don't have to have a perfectly clean house. It's okay that I have a basket of clothes from two weeks ago that we just pick through because I didn't quite get to that one." My life will go on whether or not my house is clean. Saturday, May 12, 2012. Hot dogs and peas. This is worth posting about. Wow, great story. Edin took a bite of his hotdog at lunch today and started gagging and threw up. "Is it too hot? Spit it out, buddy." He kept throwing up and we encouraged him to "get it all out." You know how sometimes they are kind of nervous to throw up because it's so unpleasant? I was in the kitchen getting some water when he calls out "Mom, I finally got the hot dog out of my throat! This kid amazes me! May 13, 2012 at 10:48 AM.

Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Muffins, money and macaroni. M was 'mazing. I had so many great ideas that I didn't get to all of them. We made muffins with lots of mixing for breakfast. (They were poppy seed. My favorite.). We pretended to be monkeys and mice. Riduculous. We wrote letters and mailed it to my mom. (I also made an origami cat because she likes them.). Lizzie got to play make-up, which she loves. We got this monkey lip gloss from the dentist office. Oh yeah, we did this all on a Monday. Wahoo.

Tuesday, May 4, 2010. This picture is so sweet to me. Okay, let's back up a little bit. A couple of days before I had the baby I had James take this picture. When I saw this picture today I thought "Dang, I was big! I didn't think so at the time. This was the day of delivery. I went to my midwife clinic to get checked out first. This was the first time James had ever been to the office. I love all the women who work there and they even liked James, which made me like them more. ;). I really like this face.
