Soundscreen Design did a limited edition 7″ record for the event to celebrate Touchable Sound, our new book on rare, DIY and underground 7″ design. Pitchfork, Take Two →. May 4, 2011 · 2:39 am. On Sunday I decided to ignore my wretched spring allergies and go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for the last day of the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was packed, and lots of people dressed up for the occassion. It was like being in Japan for the day…. Pink is officially the new blonde. Bonsai close up. This little guy was over a decade old. Monday, December 6, 2010. 2 posts in one day is a bit out of control but, I'm going for it. This (american) thanksgiving was spent chez miss Olivia. In Tribeca. Last minute planning turned out absolutely perfectly. I made my grandmothers recipe of yorkshire pudding and cooked the turkey! Mix together in a large bowl using an electric whisk or beating the hell out of it until the top is entirely bubbles (for aprox 2/3 minutes). Let sit for 2 -3 hours - do not move the bowl until it goes into the oven!

Friday, February 11, 2011. This year I decided to do the 365 pictures. I've been thus far posting them on my fb page but i'll post some of my favorite ones up here for now. My new crazy plant that I can't figure out, some Canadian delicacies (salt and vinegar popcorn powder) and my new Nars multi purpose stick I can no longer live without. Frank (soon to be Francois after this really expensive dog trainer I got him). The most amazing birthday dinner I could have ever asked for. Tomorrow will be BiJules.

Tuesday, February 15, 2011. I am a soft butter kind of girl, I don't like when the butter stays in the fridge and is too hard to spread on bread or toast in the morning (or afternoon or evening). I have always had a butter dish for as long as I figured out that I hated cold butter. A week ago I went to Fishs Eddy. It's the only other thing in that store i would have wanted. . . Shit. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. So I haven't posted in a minute, my knitting has slowed down and is being taken over by christmas/etsy orders. Its overwhelming! But, I do want to get something going soon that I won't be able to knit with my eyes closed. I'm thinking another shawl? Not too sure yet but I am open to suggestions. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. I went to a craft night last night for the first time in a really long time a la Christy's. Suggestion and was introduced to the world of tie dye. I recently left my hair kit in a taxi loosing all of my product, irons, brushes, combs, pins - basically everything I'd need to do hair on a shoot not to mention the bag it was in. Yesterday I stopped off at ion studio. Who I will be working with weekly from this upcoming weekend on -) and they donated. SO I walked my monstrous.

Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Sometime last week I had a bunch of ladies over for a dreamcatcher making evening in my new apartment that I think went fabulously. I spent the afternoon wandering around in the slush looking for some kind of plastic O shaped thing because I hadn't yet looked up what dream catchers are exactly made out of, probably something I should have done before I went out on my shopping for supplies mission.
