We had read that Ang Thong is made up of 42 islands featuring lime stone massifs, tropical rainforests and deserted beaches. The Ang Thong islands rise from the sea as dramatic walls of rock soaring hundreds of metres high. The pictures are pretty amazing and we wanted to see it for ourselves. So many things to see! Koop and Chase caught fish.

Our first stop was San Francisco where we got to visit with family for a couple days. From there I met up with my friend Matt and his cousin Joe to hike some of the John Muir Trail (“the JMT”). Eve dropped us off at Yosemite National Park, then made her way with the kids up to Bend, Oregon to visit friends. First day was smoky from a nearby fire.
