Every year many local businesses and numerous local people help out with The Big Swim. It’s what makes the day run so smoothly and enables us to all enjoy such a great event. The team at Sharp’s are great fun and we are enjoying working with them to develop the event and make it the best success possible. THE NOT SO SERIOUS SWIM. 1 mile sea swim. THIS IS SWIM FULL –. You now have the chance to turn up on the day and take the place of a non show. You can do this at 12pm at Port Gaverne Car Park. Registration 10.00 Port Gaverne Car Park. Start time 14.30. Bags will be driven to the Penhaligon Rooms at Port Isaac for when you finish the race. Markers will line the course, safety boats will be in close reach for anyone who may need to be taken out of the water. Medical assistance is on standby at all times.

The Big Party returns once again, the official after party to the Sharp’s Brewery Big Swim. This year the line-up is as strong as ever with some familiar faces and some fresh acts set to grace the stage (sponsored by John Bray Cornish Holidays). And as per usual Sharp’s will keep the award winning ale flowing! Music starts at 2pm with Georgie and Steve and then breaks for the swim until 5pm.
