Getting ready for baby. We’ve been busy getting ready for Andy’s arrival over the past 2 weeks. We’ve painted, assembled furniture, washed baby clothes, had my baby shower, shopped for odds and ends we needed, pulled out old baby toys and started gathering supplies for my hospital bag and the diaper bag. This past weekend, Ella and I travelled to Columbia, SC for her first dance competition. She performed two routines – jazz and tap. Her group won 1st place for jazz and 2nd place for tap! I was so proud of her! She sure has come a long way since she was 2 and cried when I tried to put her in dance. Now, my once-shy, little girl has the courage to get up on stage infront of an audience and compete against other girls from all over the area in dance. One Response to “1st Place! Summer fun ideas for kids. 3 Easter egg hunts. 1 Scavenger hunt to find Easter baskets. Time spent with Grandma and Grandpa. Lunch with Matt’s family. Egg coloring with cousins. 3 Church services – 1 to worship, 2 to serve. Resurrection eggs and family time spent teaching Passover and the Resurrection story. 1 Easter Party with our homeschool friends. 1 Exhausted family that feels very blessed and thankful to have a personal relationship with our risen Savior and King, Jesus Christ.
