The farmers will definitely be wanting us to make these again! 3/4 c granulated sugar. 1 c brown sugar. 1 tbsp. vanilla. 2 eggs, slightly beaten. 3/4 tsp. baking soda. 3/4 tsp. salt. 11 oz bag butterscotch chips. 4 oz Heath toffee chips. Drop dough with a small ice cream scoop or spoon onto cookie sheet, bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Go ahead and give it a try! 1 stick of butter (you can use 1/2 stick if you'd like). 1/2 of medium yellow onion chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder. 2 cups whole milk. 3 cups chicken stock. About 1/4 cup of cornstarch mixed with a little water. Make sure there's no lumps. 2 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese.

It included supper at John Harris' historical home, and a ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna; a riverboat. So this is how Karl and I spent our Saturday evening. John Harris founded Harrisburg which is now Pennsylvania's capitol. His home is owned by the Historical Society and is open for tours or you can rent it for catering dinners.
