Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Can you tell it's summertime? We are sure enjoying summer and the outdoors here at Eagles Nest. Here are a few pictures that I have collected this month. We picked cherries.yum! The best 'cherry picker'! See the little red gate? I found it while digging in the flower beds. It was buried in the dirt about 4 or 5 inches. I painted it red. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Date Night and Peach Party. Mark Hershey Feeds sponsored a free evening at Harrisburg for their employees. It included supper at John Harris' historical home, and a ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna; a riverboat. So this is how Karl and I spent our Saturday evening. John Harris founded Harrisburg which is now Pennsylvania's capitol. His home is owned by the Historical Society and is open for tours or you can rent it for catering dinners. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Farm Show and Snow. Pennsylvania is the home of the nation's largest farm show. Here are a few pictures of this year's show. Yummy potato donuts.a tradition.
