Sunday, August 23, 2009. We were lucky enough to spend a week in No Carolina with our family for Rueben's graduation. After spending a couple of days in Winston-Salem we traveled to Kitty Hawk and spent 5 days in a beach house. It was amazing! Riding the Merry-Go-Round that is in the mall. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Emilie turned 17 years old! You can tell from the first picture that we weren't the only ones who remembered. Emilie's friends decided to trash her room, and the rest of the house. What a wonderful present! Emilie spent the next day cleaning it all up. Sunday, April 12, 2009. Paige, Bryson, and myself were lucky enough to get out for a bit. It's been quite a while since I swung a club. needless to say my form could use some improvement. Bryson is quite the golfer. He's all proper in his approach. He told me on the range that I need to start off with my smaller clubs and work up. And then our good friend, Kate, knows Santa personally and invited us over Christmas Eve to see him. Conner didn't care much for Santa, he got close enough to get a candy cane and then turn back. Cause life keeps getting better. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Preschool today, college tomorrow. Dancing the mexican dance. I used to think that my poor child inherited his fathers non dancing genes (sorry honey), but after seeing him today, he can shake it like no other. For this song they danced the macarena dance while singing the months of the year. It was by far my favorite. Shhhthe little bird is sleeping. Precious little girl. In a blink of an eye, she'll be next in getting her preschool certificate.

Cause life keeps getting better. Sunday, July 19, 2009. Kindergarten here we come. That day is coming fast. Where has our summer gone? It was time for a haircut today. Random places Isa sleeps. Some nights she'll come into our bed and sleep at the end of our feet. She'll then wake up and walk back to her bed. She'll do this a couple of times during the night and then finally settle on our bed. Crazy little girl! Petting and combing the goats and lambs. Milking a cow is hard, let alone with one hand.

Saturday, January 11, 2014. It's barely mid-January and Christmas already feels like a distant memory! But we had such a fun and full Christmas season. One of the best parts was that Addison is more able to understand some of the more meaningful parts of Christmas and why it is such a big deal to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
