El Abra Prison

Thursday, June 22, 2006. The mountain view of El Abra Prison, north of Cochabamba). Click here to view Photos:. Does this sound like a risk your business is willing to take? Walking through the prison, embracing and greeting the inhabitants changes the way I look at people. Likewise it changes the way I look at forgiveness of others and myself. How can we look at these people as human again and as a friend? What path would you choose as a result? Posted by Collin Whelley at 6:23 PM.

two true friends of mine

Two true friends of mine. Thursday, October 05, 2006. A little thank you for the fellas! Does the average compassionate person push a Begging man in a wheel chair 10 blocks to the market and buy him a baby stroller for his new child? I’m sure Chris has not told many people about this, which is even more impressive. That’s just what Chris does! Challenges us all to get up and do something about those initiatives that run through our head. He is a great person and a wonderful friend for Mike and I. The fri...

how to make a good day

How to make a good day. Thursday, September 21, 2006. How to make a good day. How to make a Good Day. It is remarkable how days become good days or bad days in a seconds flash. I worked calmly and productively suffering only one finger injury; far below national average! The truth is that there is wool, but where? In rebuttal to my-self. Bad days have com...

Los Bia Donations

Thursday, August 17, 2006. We are now two and a half months into the project and things are continuing to progress. Last weekend we spent with the tribe "Los Bia". It was Clayton's last chance to get to the jungle before he left, and even better, the everlasting flashlights finally arrived! We quickly packed up and prepared five more rocket stoves (wood burning) from the CEDESOL foundation, and Ruth managed to get clothes donations for the people as well.
