Book Review:

http://www.thebookcastle.blogspot.com/2015/08/book-review-outlander-by-diana-gabaldon.html

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. This is the first book in the Outlander series. 1945 Claire and her husband Frank is reunited after the war and travels to Inverness for their second honeymoon. But when Claire walks through a standing stone, one of many scattered across the British Isles, she finds herself in a very different Scotland, more specifically: Scotland in 1743. Well, that was certainly a roller coaster ride! You can get this book at The Book Depository. You can read more about it on Goodreads.

REVIEW POLICY | The Book Castle

http://www.thebookcastle.blogspot.com/p/review-policy_4.html

As I often find written reviews to be too long, I try to write concise and to-the-point reviews, telling you if I thought it was good or not, pointing out a few things I liked/disliked, and whether I would recommend it/who I would recommend it to. If a book has been sent to me by a publisher or an author, it will be stated in the beginning of the review. I review all books critically and honestly. I try to keep all reviews spoiler-free. I will write a disclaimer if one contains any. 1/5: Did not like it.

http://www.thebookcastle.blogspot.com/2015/08/amazing-authors-j-k-rowling.html

Amazing Authors: J. K. Rowling. I cannot have an Amazing Authors feature on my blog without including Rowling as one of the first few authors. Although she's the Queen for almost everyone in my generation, this is for all of you who maybe haven't gotten started with her yet. So, today, it's time to take a look at the one and only. Fantasy, Crime Fiction. Crime series about private investigator Cormorran Strike (published under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith). What I love the most about Rowlings writing i...

The Tale of the Lime Tree. New On My TBR #1. I thought it would be nice to give you updates on my TBR list once in a while. Perhaps you’ve heard of certain books as well or there might be additions to my TBR that you’ve read already – in which case I’d like to hear your thoughts on them! Do check the books out on Goodreads. Spread the bookish love!

The Tale of the Lime Tree. Top 5 Found In Translation #1. There have been a lot of videos on BookTube and posts on book blogs on ‘reading diversely’ recently. When Alice wrote a blog post. About it, we came to the conclusion that we would not only like to know more of literature from outside of Europe, but also from within. She recently published a post on five Norwegian authors. We should read and today I’m going to introduce five Dutch authors that have written must-read books! In Lucia’s Eyes. About t...

July Book Haul | The Tale of the Lime Tree

https://taleofthelimetree.wordpress.com/2015/07/31/july-book-haul

The Tale of the Lime Tree. I think I’ve never bought so many books as I did past month. I think the fact that the summer holidays were on its way and the idea of heaving loads of time to read helped a little. I shouldn’t really talk – or actually write – very much, but just show you the books, shouldn’t I? Well, this happened. That’s a loooooot of books! It began with a few Penguin English Library books – they’re pretty cheap and I wanted to read more after I’d read. Under The Greenwood Tree. This is a t...

June 2, 2015 · 1:16 pm. The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle. Wren Gray is about to graduate high school. She’s always wanted to please her parents, but as graduation nears, she realizes she wants to go on her own path. But how can she follow her desires if she doesn’t even know what they are?
