Illustration, Fine Art and Design by Celia Marie Baker. I recently finished up another illustration project for Cedar Springs. It’s a promotional postcard featuring our battlefield themed lazer tag. Yesterday I stopped by the office to pick up a copy of the prints. I feel so blessed to live and work here. I did the illustrations in ink and watercolor, then tidied them up in Photoshop. Illustration, Fine Art and Design by Celia Marie Baker. Selections from the sketchbook and life. We are moving again. Have moved. Our house is smaller, but our hearts are fuller. God is so good. I hope to settle in this time. To unpack the last box. I am well on my way, having exhumed the contents of a box three moves old. Found a sweet teddy which my four year old has claimed as his own, tho it was first packed away before he was born. Still God is good. This entry was posted in autobiographic. Edward a...

The Bookwood Blog: October 2011
http://bookwood.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Here are a few more images of the woodland creatures I’ve been working on the last few months. Many of these critters are fairly close to life size and all of them are local to Whidbey island. Which is fun. I’ve had a lot of help from local wildlife experts and the wonderful librarians at the Oak Harbor library. I feel so blessed to get to work with these people! The Bookwood Blog: Public Art
http://bookwood.blogspot.com/2011/06/public-art.html
Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I am currently in the beginning stages of creating a public art installation for a Library. It's much larger than I've ever worked, but I'm really excited. The husband and I will be collaborating on this project, and I must say, I am so blessed to have such wonderful, supportive husband who can do just about anything! I don't want to give away the project before it's complete, but here are a few preliminary detail sketches. Enjoy! June 21, 2011 at 12:23 PM. View my complete profile.

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I cant wait to see the finished product! I wish our squirrels read. The only thing ours do is run across the power lines and occasionally get blown up if they hit a transformer wrong. July 26, 2011 at 4:38 PM. So cool. Cant wait to see it all done. :). August 1, 2011 at 12:04 AM. I love all of your art and blogs! Your website is really amazing! I cant wait for the finished product! And to see the library covered with your art sounds exciting! Keep up the amazing artworks!

This website, thebookwoods.com and the channel on Youtube.com is a project run by six students at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) in Trondheim, Norway. It started as a group project design to show how to handle and convert different types of data. To show how this way of handling data can be used in a meaningful way, we have put links on every site towards an online bookstore where this site is participating in an advertising program.
