The road less travelled…. May 2, 2015. May 9, 2015. Aserradores was just about as far North as one can get on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. It was the logical stop after Granada because it had surf breaks, would allow me to see a completely different area of the country and was along the way to Honduras, where several friends of mine were destined. The road less travelled…. Chill in a natural environment. November 13, 2014. May 2, 2015. This is my retreat. A home away from home. Two acres of mostly fruit trees, the odd chicken running around and the sound of cows being herded down the road. Probably my favorite thing to do after surfing epic waves all morning is to kick back in the hammock out front with some freshly-squeezed lime juice fresh from the abundant lime trees, and a good book. The road less travelled…. The cabin is situated close to two surf beaches on a 2 acre property full of fruit trees. The road it is located on has recently been paved so no problems getting there in rainy season. There are three beaches within a 10-20 minute stroll the world class Boom and beginner-friendly Aposentillo and Peanuts , a fun beachbreak nearby (ask the local kids). The cabin is 36m2 so there is plenty of space. There are three single beds inside. Need a cold drink? Hang with your buddies.

We have two waves seasons- summer (November to March), when the winds are offshore most of the day and the swell is smaller, and winter when the swell is bigger and the winds are usually clean in the morning and seabreezes kick in in the afternoon.
