The Plateniks: April 2015
http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. Thursday was Will's boosterthon fun run at his school. The kids run laps that are 1/16 of a mile in an effort to raise money for things the school needs. This year it is more iPads and ChromeBooks. They collected pledges for about a week and then had the big run. The goal of each student is to run 30-35 laps. Will ran 44. He rocked that! Will even got the game ball in his first game last weekend, going 3/3 with 2 RBIs and playing catcher and first base. Sunday, April 12, 2015.

The Plateniks: August 2014
http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 21, 2014. Will is 7 today! 7 seems so old! He has grown up so much in the past year, becoming a reader and a teammate on his baseball team. His fall ball team is mostly the same kids and same coaches as spring and they are trying to keep those kids together for as long as possible. At 7, Will loves sports, but especially baseball. He loves animals and is especially interested in learning about dog breeds and ocean animals. Monday, August 18, 2014. Will is a true thrill seeker and a dare ...

The Plateniks: September 2014
http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. Will had school photos last week. Unfortunately, he spilled chocolate milk all over himself at lunch BEFORE the photos. So, we did our own little photo shoot at home. We already bought those pictures so that should be interesting. He had his own ideas about how photos should be posed. And on Saturday he was 4/4 in his baseball game and had 3 RBIs. His team won 7-3. He is a really great baseball player when he's out there having fun and not worrying about being perfect. Caleb's...

http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Megan kept the house running and the kids busy, especially during all the snow we had at the beginning of the year. She also continued to work at the Y, teaching P.E. and working at different races and events. She also ran two half marathons this year. The year was full of ups and downs, but we look forward to what 2015 brings us, with tons of plans already! Sunday, December 28, 2014. Will got a digital camera that can go underwater for Christmas, so we headed to the pool to...

The Plateniks: March 2014
http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Will's Kindergarten "Spring" musical was today and tonight! It was also supposed to be yesterday, but we had our 15th snow day. Today, there was a 2 hour delay. Winter needs to END. At least they got to have their play. It was about cats who were in a finishing school trying to learn different things so they would be adopted. Monday, March 17, 2014. St Patrick's Snow Day #1782. But, today, we stayed home. Played in the snow. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Monday, March 3, 2014. Yeste...

The Plateniks: March 2015

Friday, March 13, 2015. Well The Green Warriors had a perfect season. It was fun and we learned a lot, but we never won a game. Coach Brooks named Will the defensive specialist of the team, though. Look at that hustle! And he is all over these kids, blocking their shots and passes. He got a medal and goes to baseball practice tonight. He cannot wait for baseball. Saturday, March 7, 2015. Hopefully, the snow is leaving for good after this weekend, but before it does, we decided to paint it. Snow Day # 987.

The Plateniks: Beach Trip
http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2015/08/beach-trip.html
Sunday, August 9, 2015. We went to the Outer Banks for a week and it was wonderful. Gramps and Great Aunt Pat joined us in an effort to help our family continue to work through the problems that have been challenging us as a result of Josh's PTSD. We are grateful to them for making the drive and being there for our family when things got tough. Gramps used the ocean to demonstrate that when things knock you down, you try to get up again. Josh really played with the kids and they enjoyed every minute of it.

The Plateniks: February 2015
http://theplateniks.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. At least Mom got her into the pediatrician as soon as they opened their doors yesterday, and they saw her fluid and blood covered tonsils and prescribed the strongest medicine for strep. She is feeling much better today and was up and out in the snow with Will. Wait Where did Will go? We explored the woods, looking for animal tracks, but all we found was Tank. Over and over again. It was alright snowman making snow, so we headed back to the yard to make one. Picture Window te...

The Plateniks: April 2014

Thursday, April 24, 2014. It's Spring Break here, so we planned one big outing for the week. The National Zoo! We headed into the city with our friends and met up with a bunch more friends. Will loved the adventure of the whole thing but did say tonight that he remembers a bigger zoo when he was little. The sea lions and otters were very entertaining and the giant pandas were adorable and active. Sunday, April 20, 2014. We've had another busy weekend here! This year, one silver egg with $1 in it and one ...
