Tuesday, March 31, 2009. My mother's a pianist. This usually doesn't present much of a problem, but when I was younger, she used to drive me to school (all five blocks! And every morning the entire passenger seat would be loaded up with sheet music- binders and folders and loose papers, out of order, taped together, stacked precariously on the cushion. Out of forgetfulness, I'd open the front door (every morning! Huff in exasperation (we're gonna be late! Nah nah nah nah! Nah nah nah nah! Nah nah nah nah!

Monday, June 8, 2009. So, there are a bunch of recipes online for making clay out of dryer lint. I did a few test batches this morning, but they're quite soggy and don't hold together well. I'm hoping that if they dry out for a few days, the texture will be more like actual clay and I can make stuff out of them. :) Like little bowls made of clay twigs woven together. Really cute ones. Or just cut them up and use them for dusting rags? I'm in a constant state of dismantling. But I probably won't. Thorough...

If you've ever been in my room, you know that I am continuously "cleaning my room," because the moment I have everything organized, I get another crapload of stuff, either from the porch or the basement, that needs to be put away. I was walking home from the coffeeshop I was dropped off at after church this morning (Akron Christian Reformed! So, I'm walking, right? WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING? A chicken coop.". Are you gonna keep chickens in your backyard? Mumble something incoherently. "Yeah, I'm gonna try.". Have fun with your chickens! I want to be involved in your chicken coop venture? I don't get these kinds of opportunities very often/ever.
