Publish And Be Spammed: August 2007

Publish And Be Spammed. On the Internet, no one can hear you blog. Wednesday, 1 August 2007. Hail to the Chief. A book such as 'The Ants Are My Friends'. Wouldn't be complete without an entry or two from George W Bush: indeed, we've got a whole section dedicated to his mangled charms. However, it would be churlish not to applaud George's put-downs to BBC political reporter Nick Robinson. Posted by Tom Bromley. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hail to the Chief. I See Modern Britain.

Publish And Be Spammed. On the Internet, no one can hear you blog. Monday, 1 December 2008. End of a Chapter. Sharper readers might have noticed I haven't updated this blog over the last few weeks. That's not because I've been lazy, but because I've been in the process of leaving Portico Books. Posted by Tom Bromley. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). End of a Chapter. I See Modern Britain.

Publish And Be Spammed. On the Internet, no one can hear you blog. Monday, 24 September 2007. The Glamorous World of Publishing Part Two. After all that I just haven't had the energy left for all the hating and knife sharpening and back stabbing and whatever else it is I'm apparently meant to be up to. Not to mention that my sparkly dress is at the dry cleaners . Posted by Tom Bromley. The Glamorous World of Publishing Part One. From The Times on Friday. Posted by Tom Bromley. June 22, 2008. 1) I changed the typeface for this site yesterday for a couple of reasons: a) it makes more sense to have everything uniform, rather than a bit Georgia and a bit Arial. Whatever was I thinking? And b) you know something's got to give when you're not able to read your own website without squinting. So either the text was too small or I'm going blind. I've also added a link to the Lardblog. Cos it's good innit? And also this site. And I Hate Keane. My favourite comments include these gems:.

Publish And Be Spammed. On the Internet, no one can hear you blog. Tuesday, 30 October 2007. If It's Half Term It Must Be Christmas. It’s a bewildering choice: how does a punter make a decision about what to buy? How does any book break out of such saturation? 8211; stick out like sore thumbs. One can only hope they buck what is otherwise a somewhat depressing picture. Posted by Tom Bromley. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If Its Half Term It Must Be Christmas. I See Modern Britain.

Publish And Be Spammed. On the Internet, no one can hear you blog. Thursday, 31 July 2008. To the Italian Bookshop, just off Charing Cross Road, and the launch of 'How to Live Like An Italian'. By Annalisa Coppoloro-Nowell. I've always had a soft spot for Italy, ever since I put some money on them at 7-1 to win the last World Cup, and this was a suitably Italian celebration, with much strong family support, warm weather and gorgeous food. Publish And Be Spammed: I See A Book
http://publishandbespammed.blogspot.com/2008/10/i-see-book.html
Publish And Be Spammed. On the Internet, no one can hear you blog. Monday, 20 October 2008. I See A Book. One of the latest Portico titles out is I See Modern Britain,. A sharp and very funny take on those old spotter's guides that used to punctuate long motorway journeys with fruitless searches for war memorials (or maybe that was just me). If I was more tech minded, you'd be able to watch the book's jolly nice advert. As it is, you'll have to make do with clicking through to You Tube. I See A Book.
