I made a checklist using a spreadsheet so that I could edit it, improve it and update it as I went along. It also helps that once I had one worksheet I could duplicate it and then tailor it to a specific model. The checklist includes a Post checklist check. During the examination you may have to unplug the motor or servos so it is important that prop direction is correct, that current draw doesn't exceed limits (if you changed a prop) and a transmitter range check ought to be carried out.

All other aircraft will be grounded during this event so there will be no risk to the scale models. It will be a free for all for all of us who took advantage of the club build. What a great looking plane. Len Gardiner's flying shark really dominates the air and is a joy watch. The all up weight ready to fly including batteries is 7.5 Kgs. Power supplied by two 90mm Hobbyking Fan units putting out 4.5 Kgs of thrust each,. Retracts are a mix of spring air mains and Robart nose wheel unit. Radio is Multiplex Pro 16 channel Tx with 12 channel 2.4 Rx and telemetry. Controls are ailerons, elevator, rudder steerable nosewheel, retracts and throttle. Flight time is 8 mins.
