Time is only gaining speed, and I look at her and shudder at the thought of how fast the next 6 years will fly. Monday, January 12, 2009. Sophia's Most Amazing 9th Birthday! Friday night Sophia had her first Birthday sleepover - three of her best friends were on the list! According to Sophia it was the best birthday ever! The girls were dropped off at 5:00 and the festivities started! We ate pizza, punch, and lots of chocolate! At Sophia's request I made her favorite traditional Eclair dessert Birthday cake! The highlight for the night was the most amazing scavenger hunt that our dear friend Janita wrote for us!

Friday, August 28, 2009. Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice and MORE! Snakes and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails - That's what BOYS are made of - NOT! That would better describe my little girl! She, along with Benjamin and several neighborhood friends, comb the woods in back of our house for all critters great and small. We are still waiting to catch a glimpse of the couple of bears that have been spotted this summer. The coyotes can be heard at night time. She is truly in paradise here!

He knows just how to get on my sweet side! He knows when I need a kiss or a hug or to hear those magical words "I love you! Wednesday, April 8, 2009. My Busy Little Tiger Cub. Lots of catching up to do! Never a dull moment at the Hudson home! Benjamin had a very fun February and March with the Tiger Cubs. He spent the night with Pete at the Aquarium tankside. He told me he had a difficult time sleeping because he just wanted to watch the fish all night. Sunday, Oct 14. 8211; We traveled to Nana and Papa’s this morning to spend a few days with them, before hunting season started and since daddy was going to be working two jobs Monday-Wednesday! Selah snoozed most of the way to their house, getting her power nap in before going shopping with Nana and mommy. Nana spoiled little Miss, with some new clothes! We of course had to go eat Mexican for dinner! Monday, Oct 15-. Tuesday, Oct 16-. The weather was great! I can’t wait to see them!
