The Butler Family's Crazy Life. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. In May we took off and went camping in Carpenteria with Curtis and Karla, Beau's brother and his wife. Carpenteria is a small town near Ventura. It was awesome! The weather was beautiful during the day, but pretty chilly at night! We could hear the ocean while we slept, which was amazing. Beau and I did forget our children's jacets and shoes, what great parents we are, but they survived and we had a great time! Enjoying a nice walk on the beach.

The Butler Family's Crazy Life. Thursday, April 30, 2009. This is our new home in Fresno. We live in a very nice subdivision that is centered around a lake. Our house is surrounded by large trees, which will be great this summer since it is shaded most of the day. Our yard is a lot smaller than the one in Idaho, but we still have room for the trampoline! Since we had only arrived in Fresno a month prior and didn't know very many people, we had a family party. It was just the four of us, but it was great! The Butler Family's Crazy Life. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. On May 31, Kyra turned six years old! Her birthday was on a Saturday this year, so we had the whole day to party! It was just the four of us, but we had a great time. Kyra got to pick the activities. First we went to see the movie up, which happened to open the day before. We saw it in 3-D, which was awesome! Then off to Chuck E. Cheez, oh yeah! We love you Kyra! Daddy decorated the dining room with crepe paper and balloons, Kyra was super suprised!
