Putting it all together. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. The Anatomy of a Homeschool Snow Day. 7:30 - Sleeping in is one of the first concessions to the weather. Starting late is no big deal, especially after getting a phone call at five in the morning from John's work, telling him to not come in before noon. 9:30 - Sitting snug on Mom and Dad's bed, watching the snow blowing around out the window, Carter and I discuss run-on sentences while Austin does a little Rosetta Stone French. I love my life. 3 Back ...

Putting it all together. Tuesday, June 08, 2010. Stop Blaming the Poor Peanut. Study, but they have indeed been replicated by doctors here in the US. Dr. Wakefield has never suggested that parents avoid vaccinating their children- quite the contrary- but he has been blamed for the drop in vaccine rates and a subsequent rise in measles infections among children, particularly in the UK. What if the immune system is already misfiring in these individuals in ways that have not yet been detected? Birth - Hepa...

Puzzle Pieces: September 2010
http://solvethepuzzle.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Putting it all together. Wednesday, September 08, 2010. I took a bath with Oliver tonight, which gave me the opportunity to learn three important things:. 1 I need to exercise. Let's just say I think the appeal of bubble baths and jacuzzi tubs lies in how much of the human form they conceal. A shallow tub with a 12-month-old is not nearly as forgiving and quickly erases any illusions of sveltness to which one may have been erroneously clinging. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Puzzle Pieces: A Fresh Start
http://solvethepuzzle.blogspot.com/2011/03/fresh-start.html
Putting it all together. Monday, March 21, 2011. In honor of the first day of spring, I am starting fresh with this blogging thing. I really love blogging. The problem is, I spend so much time loving other people's blogging that I forget to leave time for my own. So, in keeping with the optimism that spring always lures me into, I decided to recommit. You can find me now at my new home. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Top Five of the Week. 2 Everyone almost healthy again. 5 Playing with my kids.

Broadheads: summer catch-up
http://wybroadhead.blogspot.com/2011/11/summer-catch-up.html
Tuesday, November 1, 2011. I have neglected the whole blog thing all summer long. Well, summer never seems LONG enough so we stay super busy! Here are a few random pics from some of our summer activities. Our littlest cowgirl had her first birthday. So, of course we did a photo shoot and had cake. I can't believe how fast the year went. Giant slip-n-slide with cousins at fossilfest. Kids fishing contest the beginning of July. My normally cautious girl had 3 near-emergency-room scares within one week.

Puzzle Pieces: First Day of School
http://solvethepuzzle.blogspot.com/2010/08/first-day-of-school.html
Putting it all together. Monday, August 30, 2010. First Day of School. I love homeschooling. I never thought this would be my life, but I'm so glad that circumstances have steered me into this course. I love that the first day of school means something totally different to me than many other moms. And I love that I get to participate in that back-to-school fun of tackling new subjects and new books right alongside my children. Eggs from our own chickens, bacon from our friends' hog, and homemade donuts.
