Charles (Andy), Carly, Charlie, and Cooper. Monday, November 30, 2009. We drove my mom to Wisconsin and dropped her off there at the beginning of November. Just a quick trip, but we did manage to get doughnuts and kringle. Yum We didn't take the van, we took Andy's car. Poor Nana had to sit back there with those knuckleheads for 6 hours! By the way, those are sleep number beds that they had in that hotel room. We HATED them! We were all sore and stiff for three days after sleeping on them.

Charles (Andy), Carly, Charlie, and Cooper. Thursday, March 11, 2010. Who checked their calendars? Who is keeping track of time? The boys and I came to Minnesota exactly one year ago today. What an adventure it has been. We called this all an "adventure" for the boys sake, and boy has it lived up to the name! At times it has been not so fun, but we are all happy and healthy and really can't complain. There have been many things we've enjoyed learning and experiencing, and others.not so much!

The nihlean household is busy, as usual. We're also experimenting with new foods for lucas, and he's been pretty receptive to everything. he's had lots of different types of fruits, crackers, toast, pancakes, popsicles, macaroni and cheese, soup and even some string cheese, all successful (and messy).
