Jim, Tina, Caleb, and Grace. Thursday, December 15, 2011. His teachers did a great job teaching the kids that Christmas is about Jesus. Most of the crafts they did had to do with Jesus. They even sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus before they had lunch. I believe this is the first year I didn't have to stay by his side for him to sit on Santa's lap. Jim, Tina, Caleb, and Grace. Sunday, April 10, 2011. Spring Break in Florida 2011. Here we are again on our yearly trip to Fort Myers, Fl in March. It was a great time this year and the weather was perfect! The other days we spent it at the pool or doing stuff around town. We went to Sanibel Island to ride a boat to see the dolphins. This was really neat and Caleb got an upfront view of the dolphins following the boat. We also rented a bike that all of us could pedal except Caleb rode in the front basket.

Caleb swinging after egg hunt. Grace with her 1st Easter outfit. Easter morning at church bright and early at 8:00 am. Tried to get there to sing for the 8 am service but was 2 minutes too late. Friday, March 20, 2009. The First Day of Spring. While Daniel was working in the flower bed this afternoon I thought it would be nice to take Taylor outside and us just enjoy the beautiful weather that we are having. At first she wanted attention from her daddy, but then she just started running around and playing. At one point she was digging in a little hole in the driveway. Monday, June 29, 2009. Somehow I missed posting this. While my mom was down visiting and helping out with Katelyn and Taylor after I got home from the hospital, we took a ride on the SAM Shortline. Taylor gives Grandmommy a kiss. Our first stop was in Plains, GA, where Ex-Pres. Jimmy Carter lives. Plains is also known for their peanut cash crop. The Peanut Festival is held here every year in September. We got to sample some homemade peanut butter ice cream. Yum! It was very sweet. Posted by Carrie Poe.

Saturday, July 11, 2009. Several hours later the ER doctor came in and told us that the radiologist could not find anything on the CT scan and that she was free to go home. My first reaction was "Praise the Lord, she is healed! My second thought was why did one doctor see something and another doctor see nothing? I had to believe that it was a miracle. Monday, August 17, 2009. Our lives changed drastically with a new baby. We were used to all the freedom that we had without kids. We were not prepared for all the changes that were about to take place. There is no way to prepare yourself for that. But we adjusted and now we cannot imagine our lives without Taylor.
