http://www.thecaffeinatedjamie.com/2016_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Dear Jaxon Two Months Old. Sunday, November 13, 2016. Jaxon at one week old. Photo credit: Deanna Ruth Photography. It's been six weeks since I delivered my beautiful baby boy. It seems completely insane to me that it has been six weeks already. And yet at the same time, I struggle to remember what life was even like before he was born. He is the best thing in the world. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dear Jaxon Two Months Old.

Friday, December 30, 2016. Dear Jaxon Three Months. This was supposed to be posted on Thursday the 29th - what can I say? Babies and plans don't always go together. Today, my son, you are three months old. That's 1/4 of a year and far more time than it feels has actually passed. Where did this time go? This week, you've really learned to control that voice of yours and you love "talking" as loud as you possibly can! More than anything, I continue to love you more each and every day. Each morning that...

The Caffeinated Engineer – a journey in coffee, sustainability, and infrastructure.
A journey in coffee, sustainability, and infrastructure. October 19, 2016. It’s been awhile. Too long. Over a year. A lot has happened. I’ve finished my masters on coffee wastewater and environmental engineering. We started and finished a coffee roasting company. And Allison and I moved to Houston, Texas where I started working for Geosyntec Consultants. I wasn’t sure if I was going to come back … More 20. Starting Fresh. Is ProfitBuilder Really as Good as LeadPages? Middot; Comments (0). Ok, so LeadPages. Has emerged over the past year as the “gold standard” for simple marketing page creation. It’s a (fairly) easy tool to use to create opt-in, sales, landing, and other pages on the fly… and we’re seeing beginners and “gurus” alike using LeadPages to promote webinars, give away videos and ebooks, and build their sales funnels. And now it’s happened with LeadPages. Now, there’s ProfitBuilder. Now, the flip side of that is&...

Musings from a caffeine-guzzling, cat-wrangling mom, wife and teacher. The Firsts and the Lasts: A Mom’s Perspective. April 30, 2015. The Caffeinated Kenyon -
God knows me and actually likes me. Do I fully believe that yet? Absolutely not – but it’s true. I went to a conference last weekend and the guest speaker said something so obvious and simple but it hit me like a ton of bricks. “Your opinion of yourself does not change God’s opinion of you.” When she said that, all of the things I have said to myself bombarded my mind. And you know what? Probably 90% of the things I say do NOT align with what God says about me. Why is it so hard to claim this? Philippian...

Baking Bootcamp: Triple Berry Cinnamon Swirl Bread. This month Joy the Baker. Two things I would do differently next time: dry my berries off before adding them to the dough, and don't use more than 2 cups of them. My dough was overstuffed and the berries were slipping out every time I so much as looked at them. Triple Berry Cinnamon Swirl Bread. By Joy the Baker. 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast. 1 tablespoon granulated sugar. 3/4 cup whole milk, warmed to a warm lukewarm. 1/4 cup granulated sugar.

School Library, Ed Tech, and Lots of Coffee. Library Displays: An Awesome Resource. Library displays are the best way for our kids to discover new books. The books on the shelves are for the kids who already know what they want. We should never assume that our kids can figure it out on their own- even if they don’t want our help. Ever notice how fast you have to refill the display books? There’s an excellent reason for that. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). This entry was posted in Crafty.
